Welcome to the Marlcliffe Y5 blog. This blog gives you details of homework set each week, important messages for your parents/carers and a gallery of work by children in Y5.
The first homework is on the Homework page now. You can access this at home at any time to remind yourself of the homework set. The blog doesn’t usually contain the homework itself, but it’ll tell you what homework you’ve been given. Homework will appear on the homework page every Friday. It’s due back the Friday after. For extra homework (spellings & times-tables) see the links page on the main Marlcliffe website.
This blog links up with the main Marlcliffe blog at http://marlcliffeprimary.edublogs.org/ and the Marlcliffe website at http://www.marlcliffe.sheffield.sch.uk/. Keep visiting the website and blogs for the latest information. You can have new posts to the blog delivered straight to your email. Type your email address into the box on the right. If you prefer, you can set an RSS feed for the blog (see Technical page for details).
If you don’t have access to the Internet at home, you can use our blog and Internet resources at Hillsborough Library. You need to go with an adult on your first visit, to register.
Remember to keep yourself safe online. Let your parents/carers know which sites you’re visiting; if you use networking or messaging services, make sure they know who you’re talking to and if you’ve any problems; never give your email or other details out to people or sites you don’t know well. Always – if in doubt, tell your parent/carer. Think you know how to keep yourself safe online? Find out more and play safe-surfing games here.
